Even with the sun in their eyes for two of the three games, the girls A volleyball team triumphed over La Purisima in their game last Wednesday at home. The girls A volleyball team beat La Purisima in all three games played that day lead by our strongest server of the day, Taylor A who made an impressive 12 serves over.  Ashley S did a terrific job as setter with her quick moves, and Emmerson H never gave up with her energy on the court.  Cassidy S did an impressive job in the third game as well with some excellent passes.

The girls varsity volleyball team faced a tough competitor on Monday against Holy Family.  They lost the first game and then rallied and won the second game with the help of some terrific passes by Amanda Oand some amazing saves by Lauren G.  But the Holy Family team proved to be too much of a match for St. Francis, and we lost the third game despite the never ending spirit shown by Kayleigh M and the always hard to return serves made by Annie F.  The girls play St. Jeanne’s at home on Wednesday.
